Hello, I am Nikola Vucicevic, and I am a passionate Award-Winning Brand Designer, Innovator, and Entrepreneur. I am the Co-Founder and lead designer a brave digital company, Designer and Gentleman.

I am from the “old beauty”- Europe. From the most energy-sparkling country Serbia. Before I turned 30 yo, I worked at Leo Burnett and McCann Erickson. I also worked for some most creative and innovative local agencies, such as Insomnia and New Moment. After a couple of years, I open my Design Studio that has served global clients like Asics, Loreal, and McCann Erickson.

In 2007. I become a member of “The 1000 Young Leaders of Serbia”. With my team, I developed an award-winning project that was presented in front of the Serbian Government called: Cross Border Cooperation. After that presentation, I was hired as a Design Director to work on the campaign for a presidential democratic candidate Boris Tadic, which he won in 2008.

At the age of 32, I moved to the United States with my wife. We settled in Chicago and lived there for seven years before moving to Los Angels. Coming to the US was the best professional decision since shortly after moving, adding some more “A list clients” to my portfolio. 

What I like the most about design is the process itself. The Competitive analysis, research, working on a campaign or a product, implementation, User flows, A/B testing etc… It is fascinating how product design can touch other people and have an impact on their lives. That is why I like working with global clients.

By providing a stellar design that helped my clients close the 9 figure contracts, I established the “Design Legend” reputation. Also, I have been recognized as a game-changer for my top-ranking work with international clients from more than 27 countries.

Every design award that I received is there to gently remind us about how and why design work is relevant both for the industry and for the clients (people). Luckily I achieved success in both- brand awareness and commercial success for my clients, and therefore I am proud. I reach the top 24 designers in the USA and number 2 in the world (2016- 2017) for advertising according to World Design Rankings. My focus and high determination to bring big-brand-awareness and next-level creativity to multi-million dollar businesses have led me to many successful collaborations with various clients from baby start-ups to Fortune 500 Companies.

I love to work, learn and explore.

I am specialized in brand development, digital branding, product packaging, web development, product prototyping, concept making, and advertising. After 15 years in creative industries, I feel more than comfortable working independently or as a team leader with experience of managing up to 12 people, on-site or remotely. Capable of working in traditional print, and in new digital media.

I am open to discussing working with anyone except companies in the tobacco industry. Because I don’t see a single benefit in smoking cigarettes.
