Okami Matcha Tea

For Okami Matcha, I created a logo design, packaging, web design and POS materials. The goal was to reflect the premium nature of this tea.

Matcha is a powder made from green tea grown in Japan. Matcha is unique and is considered the best green tea in the world. We wanted to communicate that “one glass of matcha is equivalent to ten glasses of regular green tea”. Okami (meaning wolf in Japanese) is the brand name and a symbol. We combined the traditional Japanese aesthetic with modern graphic language. Today, Matcha culture has spread all over the world, but the best quality comes from Japan, and that is what makes this Okami Matcha unique.
