The IDA Juries have finalized this year’s annual Design Awards winners selections
LOS ANGELES, Jun 16 2016 Los Angeles, Nikola Vucicevic of United States was awarded: Second Prize in Design for Society Competition for the Heart Plate Project.
IDA honorary juries examined over 1000 entries submitted by architects and designers of interiors, fashion, products, and graphics from 52 countries throughout the world. After final decisions had been made, the jury rewarded the best professional and emerging designers for their achievements in terms of design, creativity, usability and innovation. Judging was a rigorous process, with winners receiving publication of their work in the International Design Awards Book of Designs. The coveted IDA Trophy will be awarded to all Designer of the Year title winners at the official biennial International Design Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles.
This annual competition recognizes, honors and promotes legendary design visionaries and uncovers emerging talents in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic and Fashion Design on global level.

Nikola Vucicevic is Belgrade (Serbia) born, Chicago based graphic and product designer. In his 15 years long career he has established as leading designers in his generation in Serbia. When he came in Us in 2013 he received special recognition and get a working visa for extraordinary abilities. The numerous awards in different design disciplines ranked him in #24 place top designers in the US according to World Designer Rankings and according to Graphis NY Nikola is in top 100 designers of the world for 2014 and 2015. He promotes himself as Designer and Gentleman and he is a leader of a team made of international experts. He likes to say “We Choose To Be Great Instead Of Big”. He is the creator of Heart Plate, and he works on various self-promo projects and products. He is married and lives with his wife Jelena in Chicago.

The International Design Awards (IDA) exists to recognize, celebrate and promote legendary design visionaries and to uncover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design. IDA aspires to draw attention to the iconoclasm of design worldwide, conceptualizing and producing great work.
